The Rich-Heape film release, "Our Spirits Don't Speak English: Indian Boarding School" includes music entitled, "Animal Spirit", which I originally wrote for New York City choreographer Mimi Garrard. It's an honor and privilege to be part of such a historically significant documentary film.

THINK, R.E.S.P.E.C.T. and NATURAL WOMAN were some of the tunes ARETHA FRANKLIN performed at Hamilton College on April 5, 2008. I had the fortunate opportunity to play percussion behind the one and only Queen of Soul!!!! It was a real treat......

ECOLOGUE, a literary magazine at SUNY-ESF selected a poem of mine to be published in this annual publication. In addition I had the wonderful and rare opportunity to be invited to read a collection of three of my poems at the unveiling of the most recent ECOLOGUE publication.
December, 2007
MINUS TED, the NYC-based alternative acoustic duo of Brian O'Neill and Skipp Sudduth, along with the other suspects Terry Pender (gtrs), Tom McGrath (perc/harmonium) and Paul Casson (harmonica), did an extended show at "The Living Room" in December. This was the first live date in some four years!!
We're looking to book other dates in 2008!!....stay tuned.....
MONK ROWE QUARTET finished the year off with a Roots of Rock & Roll concert
at the New Hartford Public Library. At the standing room only performance the group was greeted with genuine excitement and an appreciative response. The humor during the question and answer segment was a great way to end the afternoon performance...thanks New Hartford Library!!!
